Mystic Relief & Construction was founded by Shane Thaxton — a licensed insurance professional, catastrophe field investigator, and restoration consultant who spent years inside the insurance industry before stepping across the table to advocate for property owners.
After watching too many homeowners and business owners get steamrolled during the claims process, Shane built Mystic Relief & Construction to level the playing field — combining adjuster-level documentation with full-service restoration so every project is defended by data and delivered with craftsmanship.
Today, the company serves residential and commercial property owners across the Southeast, backed by the Mystic Intelligence Group — our in-house research division that fuels every inspection, estimate, and negotiation.
Shane Thaxton
Shane is a licensed insurance professional, catastrophe field investigator, restoration consultant, and entrepreneur. His career spans property and casualty claims, large-loss CAT response, liability investigations, and full-scope residential and commercial reconstruction.
Before insurance, Shane worked in media, modeling, and entertainment — environments that sharpened the communication, presence, and documentation skills he now uses to present evidence and negotiate with carriers on behalf of property owners.
